I’ve known Natalie’s mother since high school. I’ve even taken photos of her beautiful family in the past, so I was thrilled when she asked me to photograph Natalie and Christian’s wedding. What a beautiful couple with a great family. It was beautiful all day, albeit a little hot with a high of 96° f. However, the sky was blue and the air was fresh; a great day for a wedding.
Millennial Falls was a new venue for me. When I walked in, I was stunned at how beautiful it was. It’s an upscale building framed by many trees and greenery. Their hero feature is their beautiful waterfall in the outdoor gardens; hence the name. The inside was white marble everywhere. It kind of reminded me of the capitol. They had these beautiful stained glass windows and grand chandeliers.
One thing that really impressed me was the fact that everyone was on time. Most people aren’t planning weddings professionally, so there are inevitably things that take more time that you anticipate. Yes, there were a few minor hiccups along the way, but from my point of view, it seemed to go fairly smoothly. Also, considering all the nerves and stress that usually come with every wedding, Natalie and Christian and their families were so kind and accommodating. That’s definitely a trait I treasure.
