Megan is my cousin on my dad’s side. She’s always been kind, beautiful and super smart. I don’t mean smart like the way all parents think their babies are so smart when they learn their letters at four years old. I mean smart as in 4.0 student who received her associate’s degree at the same time as her high school diploma. She inherited this gift from her parents and has used it well. Society is better because she’s in it. To top of this gift of hard work and intelligence, she’s also personable, goofy and witty. I mean, HELLO! Of course she would get snatched up by some lucky guy.
When Megan announced that she was engaged to Bryce, naturally I had high expectations. I first met Bryce at an extended family gathering and I was not disappointed. He’s the perfect male counterpart to Megan: personable, smart, witty and goofy. So you could say, yeah….I approved.
Bryce and Megan’s wedding was at the gorgeous USU Botanical Gardens in Kaysville, Utah. I absolutely love weddings with a beautiful nature setting. It was also during a time where a lot of fires were burning, so we had smoky sunset skies as well. Naturally I don’t love smoky skies, but at least we get to enjoy super orange sunsets as a result.
Megan and Bryce’s zany attitude combined with elegance made for a perfect and beautiful wedding.
Megan got ready at her mother-in-law-to-be’s house since it was so close to the Wetland Discovery Point. She had a skilled hair and make-up artist who transformed her hair into a fairy garden.
